The recent death of Prince made me realize how exceptional he was. I did not know much about him as music is not my genre. What I learned was that he was a genius in all areas. He did not just play the guitar, he played instruments. He was not only justt a singer but an songwriter and arranger. He did everything brilliantly.
This brings me to my son Karl. He is a genius like Prince, which is better than a savant. A savant is a prodigy in one area. A genius is good at everything. I am a savant to a degree. I am an expert in writing and the field of love addiction but I can’t add two and two. Karl can do anything well. Let me elaborate. When he was a little boy he was tested in school. When the test results came back the school counselor called me. He said Karl had gone off the charts. They were unable to measure his I.Q. I asked him what that meant. I said, “What can he do when he grows up.” The counselor laughed and said, “Anything he wants.”
